what a crazy crazy week. work has been so very strange. a little bit stressful. a little bit frustrating. a little bit funny. a little bit impossible. a little bit ridiculous. but it's friday, and i am laughing now!

through the horrible week of work, i have tried to keep my face smiling, my brain creative, and my heart in it.

i went on a couple of adventures. i got paid.. finally.

i have been watching dexter with my prince. eating christmas fudge. and drinking breakfast teas.

i played and made things at my desk, in my little room. and have been writing letters to faraway faeries.

i have been painting my nails all different colours. like tiger prints and a grey, neutral palette. and tomorrow... something completely different.

...and drinking more breakfast teas. in small cups. in medium mugs. and in a huge mug.

some evenings after work, i have been in complete miserable mode. a super grumpersaurus rex. i really have no idea how sebastian has coped with me! poor prince.

i have gotten back into writing in my journal book. and i love it. it is getting full now, i am nearly to the end.
i love looking through the previous pages. some days i have not even written anything, just drawings, or a magazine clipping or papers and things.

i love my little craft room. i feel so much happier sitting in there. i feel an instant creativity breeze wash over me. with all my inspiration papers. polaroids. pictures taped up. tins of treasure. i just love it.

i know today's post was a little random. but this is exactly how my week has gone- random! a snow-globe full of emotions whooshing around inside a little glass bubble. have a lovely weekend everyone.

i have kept my little self busy like a bee, doing some amazing things. with some amazing people.

i went on a small, but perfect adventure with nicola and lina. we went to brighton. we met up for lunch with our dear friend, claire. which was just lovely. then later on, pretty little mandy popped by. was such a good saturday.

lina has been staying with nicola, and they have been on so many adventures together, whilst lina has been visiting from america. i was so excited to be invited along with one of their little planned trips. was amazing to meet another blogger, and was so much fun.

i absolutely can not get over the fact that spring has arrived here in kent already. it is completely strange. i think april will be very bare without blossom on the trees and all those beautiful spring flowers.

i am still secretly hoping for snow. it still has not made itself visible yet. please hurry! i miss you.

sunday was a lovely day also. i had a very relaxing morning, then by lunch, it was time to take a long walk to my sister's house. it was one of my beautiful nephew's birthday. he was one! little baby felix.

and it's his brother, ralph's birthday in a couple of weeks- he will be four!

they are all growing up so fast, and this scares me so.

it was also my friend's little girl's birthday today. she was one also. so many babies! and so much cake... though i really do not mind.

i have put some more jewellery up on my little shop. so, please take a little peek. and there is still so much more to come.

a week in the life of

my week off has been delightfully busy. i have tried my upmost to be creative. so i made things and have finished some packages and visited the post office. i have seen family. i have seen friends.

i have had starbucks. i have had cafe nero. i have danced to beyonce. i have eaten cake. i have drunk copious amounts of tea. and i have NOT missed work an ounce.

i received a lovely vintage teapot, in which my beautiful friend Leoni had at her wedding. she used teapots for her centrepieces, for her flowers. such a lovely idea. i want to make candles using teacups as the holder. really badly.

i have got some new jewellery to put up on the website, so when i get a chance at the weekend, hopefully i shall put them online.

oh... ofcourse. i had to take my beautiful engagement ring off! i cut my finger... with a pair of scissors! i literally cut inbetween my engagement finger and middle finger... and it is not just a little cut, it is really deep. euch. i actually think i need a stitch! oops.

off to brighton tomorrow, then my teeny nephew Felix turns one on sunday, so i am of to a teeny party. have a lovely weekend everyone. ♥

i had a lovely little package arrive last week... it was my jen tee that i had ordered from the lovely wallpaper rose. it is so comfy and so pretty. i think i have worn it too much already! i just adore it. it is such a good price and it comes so beautifully wrapped. i recommend highly.

i have had a crazy weekend. sebastian had abandoned me to film a music video, for three days, so i thought, instead of being on my own i would have my two nephews to sleepover and play.

it was so tiring. i am actually still yawning from it.

it was lovely though, lots of games, and colouring, and being silly. had so much fun. i miss living with them.

then i had my sister and our friend come over for bad foods and pink wine and films. which was lovely, but then they decided to stay the night. (they had to get up early the next morning) but this also led to a late night.

but then sunday brought me a trip to a local wedding fayre, which was amazing/scary/insightful. i went with sebastian's mother, and it was just so lovely. got lots of little ideas. ooh, and i had a makeover.

i am an excitable charlotte. my head is filled with little thoughts and ideas and colours and flowers and designs and places and foods and music...... oh i am far too happy to even use the word 'happy'. silly really. but i love it.
and to make it all even better, i have ten days off in a row. smiles.

i fell in love with charlotte's nail idea, here at the lovely 'kook'. so much so, i decided to have a go myself. i painted all my nails a peachy nude colour , except the ring finger, which was a sparkly 'molten copper'. it also shows off the fact i have an engagement ring on my finger!

the ring:

it is so special. i absolutely adore it. it is an heir loom in Sebastian's family and is four generation's old. i feel completely honoured that his mother let him give it to me. so very honoured.

the diamonds are 'blue diamonds' which mean that when they catch the light you can see a glimmer of bold blue. they are a very rare cut and apparently they do not cut them like that these days.

which makes it that much more special. i am in awe every time i look at it.

now, to stay up late and drink tea and eat christmas chocolate. why? ---because i have no work tomorrow!!!

wow, 2011! you were pretty good to me in the end! i thank you. alot.

---december was a busy little month for me; christmas fairs and family visits and more family visits and loads of working and then the big day and then new year. so hectic.

a little visual...

our christmas robin at work-- he pretty much lives in the office. we love him.

christmas meet ups with old friends, and distant friends... and having the same old laughs and little stories. i miss them. i miss them all. i wish i had enough money to visit everyone.

Sebastian and i had our very first christmas together in our little house. it was perfect. we were there only for a short while however, as we were visiting family, but it was just perfect!

we ate lots of delightful foods. including, mother's very special christmas dinner and homemade sausage rolls and mince pies. we ate chocolates and cake, and chocolates. nuts with fruits. nuts without fruits. homemade toffee tart. german gingerbread snowflakes. blue cheese and biscuits we drank mulled wine and tea. hot blackcurrants with honey for our sore throats. ...it was amazing.

i got treated too. very much so. with a zara dress and pom pom slippers and sparkly nail varnishes and a rabbit dressing gown and lots and lots of mugs for my tea and glasses for milk and chocolate delights and pirate coins and peter pan shirts and cookbooks and a teacup lamp and another pompom scarf and homemade jewellery and more.

i have so much more to write. to say. to do... but for now i will go and dream away the night as i have work tomorrow---this breaks my heart.

BUT... i do have one more thing to say. if you follow me on twitter, you will already know. but those who don't....

i got engaged!!!! Sebastian did it christmas eve after a beautifully romantic meal, that he cooked. he got down on one knee, asked for permission from my father.... and everything!

i am so happy. i am engaged, and researching things for an actual wedding! i suppose i should really start saving now. oh dear.

35 days until the big day. which means, lots of christmas starbucks: praline mochas and eggnog lattes. lots of christmas fairs. lots of shopping- for other people. lots of baking. lots of christmas film watching. lots of christmas song singing. and the viewing of the christmas lights being switched on.

i have been keeping myself busy making some jewellery to sell at a christmas fair in a couple of weeks. i have also spent alot of after-work time with friends, watching old films with sebastian, eating out lots (not good for my purse!), celebrating papa bear's birthday, buying gifts for christmas... and myself. like this cute little amber stone ring.

i have also been absolutely freezing. the heating STILL is not on. brrr..zzz. my fingertips and nose is icy, as we speak. i may have to get papa bear to come over and switch it on. it is a little tricky, and the manual is just far too confusing.
although the weather is a little bit cold, and indoors too, i am very much enjoying wearing my winter warmers. my scarf and gloves have been my best friend. i love the winter.

i also love my sebastian, he bought me some chocolate kisses. Hershey's white chocolate oreo cookie kisses to be more precise. mm, i think these may be my new favourites. and they are just so cute too. as is sebastian for buying me them.

..... friday night was a sad night. though my lovely friends came over and we had a girly evening in with pizza takeaways and dvds and tea and snuggles under blankets on the sofa. afterward, it was horrible. i cried and cried... i am not sure why i cried so much. maybe it was overdue, i do not know. but i felt ever so sad. and my sleeves were drenched in my tears, i sorted myself out, and had a little wash and sorts. then i realised i had pulled my glastonbury festival wrist band off along with my other bracelets. now, my wrists feel a little naked.

completely tragic.

on a happy note, my weekend has been amazing. i stayed at the cottage last night and it was so lovely. i miss it, and i will forever think of it as home. after a relaxing morning playing games with my nephews, i went to the cinema to watch twilight: breaking dawn part one, with my sister.

it. was. amazing. robert pattinson... mm. that is all really.

beautiful disasters

christmas fairs and bonfire nights and fireworks and burger vans and mother's birthday and chocolate cake and homemade tomato and red lentil soup and homemade scones with clotted cream and more tomato soup with basil.

the weekend was so hectic but lovely. we gave mother a huge photo in a pretty frame from the family photoshoot that took place a few months ago. sebastian did such a lovely job. and mother adored it. we were all so pleased.

it was also so lovely to see everyone on saturday. quite a few of my siblings turned up at the cottage. then we popped over the road to see some lovely fireworks. though it was a little drizzly and bits of flaming cardboard and wood were flying straight at us and caught our faces a few times.

and here are some fairly pretty and extremely blurry fireworks mixed with rainspots. i actually quite like these little accidents. infact, i almost prefer them. they look sparkly and glittery.

time has gone so quickly. it felt like yesterday that i last blogged. i am a little disappointed in myself. the time at some points, have felt so slow also. horribly slow. things have been somewhat difficult. however, that is another story.

now that i have moved into a smaller room that is now my own, my little craft room, i have been sorting through lots of boxes. i found some exciting little bits and pieces, including some pretty little paper flowers--i used to make cards and sell them when i was younger. i also found my flower press, which still had flowers in them. the flowers must be a good few years old!

last monday evening, ma'ma took me to place which had the most amazing christmas decorations. i had told her the weekend just before that she had to take me somewhere where i could go and collect pinecones for homemade decorations, as i would not be able to afford to buy any this year. (it is my first christmas in my house). so instead, she took me to an amazing store filled with christmas delights, and other homely-type things, and bought me my first decorations. how lovely!

it was actually such a lovely evening. we went to a lovely country pub on the way home and some lovely food.... ma'ma-pumpkin risotto, me-fish pie. mm.

i love how autumnal everywhere looks. it is so colourful and cosy. i love the winter lots, but i am very much enjoying the autumn at the moment. and our goofy hallowe'en pumpkin.

speaking of winter..... here is our little robin redbreast who loves to visit us at work and remind us that it is ever so close to christmas... 53 days. i am far too excited. i need to buy the she and him christmas album to get me in the spirit some more. oh and visit a few christmas fairs in the next few weeks. one weekend is the country living christmas fair! it is all so exciting.

home alone

i am currently home alone, with a huge mug of hot tea. outside is freezing, and i have icy fingertips, a blue nose and cold toes. i am in my craft room with a woolly bobble hat and scarf. i keep putting my 'bedtime' off. those sheets will be far too cold.

i know i have pig, but without sebastian being there to snuggle up to, it will be terribly strange and frightfully cold.

i have been busy making more jewellery and setting up my Etsy shop. Hopefully it will be up and running over the weekend.

this weekend will also include some blogging. christmas film watching. counting down the minutes to payday (monday!). spending time with old friends. cleaning. tidying.

one month's worth of photos

i have not been here in ages. i feel sad that i have not had a little spare time to drop by. i also really need to catch up on my favourite blogs. i will be commenting soon, if not tomorrow.
lots of little nice things have been going on.. my pretty orchid blooming ever so well. lovely packages from foreign lands for my creative ideas. some of my creative ideas coming together nicely. playing on photoshop. ordering more pretty things. buying chiffon shirts and burgundy chinos and brown ankle boots. painting my nails in a lovely burgundy coloured polish.
days off to do some housework and relaxing. evening trips to hobbycraft to browse and for my sister and nephew to spend lots of pennies. delicious homemade cherry and ginger cake with tea, made by mother's friend with cherries from her own garden.
staying at the cottage, sleeping in my old bedroom, which is now my mother's. it was very strange, but mother has made it look so pretty and elegant and i love it more. mother was away so i slept in her giant bed with pig. until my nephews woke me up... and her baby cockerel.
i have just been so so happy lately. and it is autumn, with a few days of cheeky sunshine, it has been so lovely. my overheated body loves this time of year. the colourful leaves fall from the trees. then you walk over those leaves and they are so crunchy... like winter, and it's snow. the fresh, soft sort. **oh christmas i cannot wait for your arrival!**

i went to one of my brother's house to see my nieces and nephew and their teeny chihuahua's. the mother 'teenie' is pregnant and my sister-in-law is selling me one of the babies for less then half the price. though sebastian and i are awaiting the third and final yes from the landlord.

last friday i went to a harry potter themed party at a beautiful old pub in the middle of nowhere, for a birthday. if you follow me on twitter and sweetly commented like a love, you would have already seen my outfit. but here it is again.
obviously i dressed up as luna lovegood... my favourite character. my friend, rosebud, went as hermione. there was a professor trelawny and a dobby, a pair of twins went as fred and george, there was a ginny, a bellatrix, a hedwig, and a couple of random witches and things. i also spoke in a luna accent all night, i sort of wanted to claim it as my own accent. was such fun.

gifts- brother's birthday. handmade dream book for my work friend.
gift (for me)- sebastian bought me this beautiful blush coloured ice watch which i have been eyeing up in the watch shop for months, when one day it was gone. i found it hard to find another. until today... on my wrist. i am paying him back though on payday. it just seemed like fate.
being silly.

i have been wearing my glasses for three days now. i have been getting horrible headaches. but since i have been wearing them, other than just for the computer, my eyes have been too blurry without them. i have an eye test tomorrow.
post- receiving packages of information, craft items and tools, and this adorable postcard from my little nephew. so sweet.

throw some glitter, make some rain

oh my goodness, i had such a lovely day with my sebastian yesterday. so many smiles and hugs and silliness. i loved it lots. i love HIM lots.

we went to the o2 arena yesterday and watched 'batman live'. i bought him tickets for his birthday and he wanted to take me with him (aw). i actually really enjoyed it. it was a show full of acrobatics and dancers and extravagant performances and flying paper bats. it was amazing. sebastian really loved it.

after the show, i treated us to a dinner at tgi friday's. i have no pennies now. but it was worth it.

when we got back to our lovely little house, i planned lots of craft making and bought some things for my ideas. i also painted my nails with my new dirty caramel nail polish. i love it. i want a burgundy and a rust coloured polish now. oh and a shirt to match.

sebastian's horsey top and white ribbons made my first day back at work much more manageable. it actually was not as daunting as i had imagined.

this bank holiday weekend has consisted of (so far) a teeny shopping trip, a yummy prawn curry, dirty caramel colour nail varnish, lemonade, xfactor, playing with stones, talks about luna, a fruit cocktail of raspberries and ice and pineapple, little craft plans, sleeping, cbb, tweeting, a beautiful horse print dress, seeing an old friend, buying birthday gifts, spending a day in pyjamas, writing cards, being silly, celebrating a best friend's birthday... and i still have another day to enjoy.

tomorrow consists of a trip up to london with sebastian for the second part of his birthday gift (his birthday was in may!) i am really looking forward to it. i may even treat him to a tgi friday's.
i have also been thinking alot about autumn and how much wearing jumpers will be so nice.

my week in pictures

i have had lots of little outings and mini adventures this past week.

i have gone for a curry with nicola and read old books whilst we waited for them to arrive. i wanted to take some of them home for my bookshelves.

it was my nephew's birthday and i spent the day with him and my sister and co. we went to the beach and had a picnic. it was lovely weather. we climbed rocks and paddled in the sea. we threw pebbles. it was so nice. when we got back to mother's house, we had a little chinese and some homemade chocolate fudge birthday cake that mother made him. delicious.

my lovely friend suz came around one evening and we had a film night. we watched 'never let me go' and it was so lovely. and emotional. i loved it so much. we also ate pizza and chocolate.

i also went to the cinema, and finally watched harry potter and the deathly hallows part two. it was amazing. watching it in 3d made it so much better- i got to wear my amazing harry potter 3d glasses.
i also found out that i am invited to a harry potter fancy dress party at the end of september. i am going as luna lovegood. she is one of my favourites.

sebastian and i also went on the bus for an hour journey to the beach, (a different one that i went to the other day for my nephew's day out) it was worth it though. sebastian took lots of a photographs for his portfolio so it was a successful trip.

my photographs are no where near as amazing as his!

but we did have ice cream and planned another trip to go back and have a go at 'crabbing'. which looked very difficult, and very skillful. i think i will find this hard.

the sun was out and shining very beautifully. i even got a little pink. and a little more freckles.

it was lovely though. i also went for a family photoshoot, which sebastian was the photographer. we rented out a little studio and it was so nice. my family is huge, i have mentioned this before, but i am one of nine!!! yes, nine! i am number eight.

we thought it would be nice for my mother to have a lovely family photograph for her birthday. though two of my siblings decided at the last minute that they selfishly did not want to take part. but we all had a lovely day anyway. it was so lovely to see everyone together and the little ones.

in the knight's garden

our landlord's are away at the moment, and they asked if we could water their plants, feed their fish, and eat their vegetables. ok, we said.. in exchange for some wine and 'hopeful' cheese (they've gone to france).

sebastian and i have been eating too many green beans... i cannot eat another green bean. however, i did get to spend some time in their lovely little garden. it is fairly small, but so sweet. there are so many flowers and little vegetable patches. they also have constant little visitors too, in bird form. this makes me miss mother's garden... alot.

we really want a garden now. desperately. just another thing to add to our wishlist.

being at home for two weeks has been a little strange. i have been told to stay home by the doctor. but it has been surprisingly lonely. sebastian only works from nine until four, but that time in between drags so much. i have read books, and blogs, and made things. and failed things.

the best part though was making cakes. it has been a while. i must have gone through a little phase when we moved in together. i may have to make something else. muffins maybe. or scones.

saturday i went for a nice long walk to my friend nicola's house for some company and ofcourse to deliver a cake.

nicola and her family were lovely enough to invite me with them on their day out. we went to a local fete and bought piles of books and had a few go's on the tombola and bought knitted toys and chocolate cakes and won pink lemonade. there were lots of stalls and bunting and an old fashioned red double decker bus. oh, and i snuggled a ferret.

nicola and i matched. like the perfect pretend 'sister' i was for the day. it was so lovely. thank you miss nicola and mr and mrs and nan and grandpa nicola! hugs.

i miss home, and everyday viewings of my lovely mother's face and the noisy children and clucking chickens and trixie-lu's moulting fur. and boris' big floppy bunny ears. and the everyday access to the beautiful flowery garden with patches of grass to sit on and the big apple tree.

i am off to write a story.

slightly waylaid

my sebastian bought me these lovely peach roses for me when he got back from work tuesday. he said he thought it would cheer me up. it did. he did.
these past couple of days have been a little productive. finally have my creative head on. have designed lots of little things for my 'big ideas', though it might take some time as there has been a minor setback in the process. and it is based on the penny situation.
i am trying my very best you see, to save my pennies. sebastian has planned a lovely trip to paris for our new year and i am so excited. so i must must save some pennies. i am trying to be good. though i do really want my etsy to come along. life is a complicated little thing.

i cannot wait for this film... i'd quite like to read the book first though.

this giant teacup made my jaw drop to the floor. not only is it grey polka dot and floral... it is huge! i wanted it for my morning tea. though the tea might get cold ever so quickly.

i have had so many little adventures of late. i met up with my friend nicola and we had a good catch up and some nice food. and we had one of those career talks... you know when you have no idea what you're going to do with your grown up life... and that if we were rich we could have our own shops. but the world is a confusing thing. and it really is not that easy. it breaks my heart a little.

sebastian and i went to my very beautiful friend leoni's beautiful wedding on saturday, it was perfect. the weather was warm and the sunshine was bright. leoni looked absolutely perfect. the whole day was so wonderful. it always makes me wonder about what my wedding would be like.

sunday, i went to town. i wore a dress! without leggings! this is a huge step for me. as my legs love to hide away, and i like it that way.

anyway i had a lovely little walk around town in the nice weather. bought some materials to make things with and gifts for my rosie and i spent the afternoon being creative. it was perfect. it was like the old days.

today i have spent my whole day at my desk. it has been fantastic. i have made things and designed things and eaten rich tea biscuits and drunk tea and have been cutting and sticking.

everything seems to be coming together now, thank goodness. for a while i have wanted to get back into be creative and have found it so hard... i've wanted to create an etsy shop and sell some things. and now i have finally started. and succeeded. so hopefully it will not be long until i can start that.

not much to blog about. i am at a standstill once again. i feel like i have been frozen by the ice witch. though everything around me is going so fast. work is exhausting me. i cannot be there anymore, i am so close to walking away... but there is rent and bills to pay. and food to eat. i have applied for a handful of jobs so fingers crossed. just one choice will do. if anyone's listening!?! right, i have birthday and bon voyage cards to make.

vintage stamp necklaces and bunny print dresses bought from glastonbury festival. a pretty orchid bought from my mother to sebastian and i, for our lovely little house. nail painting. flowers bought for me from sebastian, a teeny surprise. having my hair cut and coloured more blonde, with little strips of dark brown. writing plans for an upcoming teeny etsy shop. planning a family photoshoot. applying for more interesting jobs. and eating pink iced doughnuts.

glastonbury festival was amazing. i had the best adventure ever. first festival. first camping trip. it was so amazing.
yes there was so much mud! people lost their wellies, they fell over, they got stuck in the mud. it was rainy and cold and muddy. but then it gotta warmer. so the mud turned like gloopy glue, we got stuck in it even more. the sun was far too hot and i got sunburnt and lots of little freckles to add to the collection.
but it was such an experience. lots and lots of fun. i have missed my uni friends too.
i saw alot of wonderful acts. caitlin rose. my first tooth. yuck. beyonce. ke$ha. jessie j. elbow. katy b. coldplay. paulo nutini. jamie woon. i had the best time. though i missed sebastian so very much. i bought him a monkey hat and some bracelets and postcards for when i got back.... he loved them.i did not realise until i arrived there, how huge the festival would be. the one sad thing about the whole trip was that i missed watching lykke li, which still breaks my heart. she clashed with beyonce, and i was well and truly crushed in the crowd, i could not even attempt it. my heart still aches. though i did buy a t shirt with her on, so it made up for it a little.going home was never going to be an issue... until we got to the car at 11, after lugging our huge bags in the heat. the queue was two hours long to get out of the farm. and then we got lost, then we got caught in traffic after traffic. not good. at this point, my stomach was wrenching with pain from the lack of food. it was painful. the whole thing was painful.
nicola and i just got straight on the train when we arrived in brighton. straight home. once i was home it was 10 at night and i had a lovely well-owed shower and hair wash.
i had work at 9 in the morning!
the very next evening, nicola and i hopped back on the train to london to the o2, and we watched glee live. i know! so completely different, but i absolutely loved it. i love darren criss even more. and lea michelle. they sounded perfect and the atmosphere was so amazing. it's official, i am a gleek.

i am off on my adventure with my girlie friends. i am going to glastonbury festival. first time.. and first time camping, ever. it's a little rainy still over there i think. wellington boots, you are staying with me!

in the eleven years i lived in sellindge, i have never been to the steam fayre... until this year, and i do not even live there anymore.
it was a beautiful day, i got a little pink. had candyfloss on the grassy bank. went on the rides with my nephews and family friend's little boy. bought sebastian some gummy snakes. took photographs. got a mouth full of smokey smoke from the steam engines. mother bought lots of windmills for the garden. it was such a lovely lovely day. brother sam is back from university now too, so he came along too.
that year went so quickly. siigh.
i felt like a child when brother and i were trying to knock a coconut off at the shy. we did not manage to win anything. it was fun though. i am so glad he is back for the summer. i have missed him so.i have not been feeling too inspired recently. to be honest i have been feeling rather low. moving away from home is so much more grown up than i can manage. there are not enough pennies going around for every bill and every payment. it is terrifying.
though on a good note i am going to glastonbury festival in a matter of weeks. and i am so very excited.
after that it is save. save. save. sebastian has something secret planned for new years! so i really must not spend a thing on unnecessary items. excited.

i visited the cottage and mother made me tea, my favourite. i miss it so. her dinners and her. i also miss my nephews and the garden and the loveliness. i also met her new chickens; camilla, duchess, jemima, henrietta, mrs pepperpot...and i forgot the other one's name. henrietta pecked at my toes, apparently they like pretty nail varnish. i love them. best things about mother's garden at wychwood cottage... her lovely flowers, her new chickens, trixie-lu the kitty and boris the bunny. i miss them all. very much.i really really want to live here....it was the boy's birthday a couple of weeks ago... we went to the place where the teeny toothless fish nibble at your feet. was far too strange. then we had lots of fun and i made him the purple iced rainbow cake he requested! i am rather proud.we were invited to a wedding at the weekend.. and it was beautiful. the grounds were wonderful. it got me thinking about weddings and what my wedding might be like. it was strange... i am far too young. but maybe i am actually not that young anymore.

oh, it has been another month since i have last been here. i am terribly rubbish these days. my inspiration is so very minimal and being at work nearly everyday, all day, makes my mind frazzle and my daydreams turn to dust. though the sun has been shining and my smile has been spread all over my freshly freckled face and i am back!
there are far too many photographs but i had to include all my adventures. so this post is a big one! i have seen spring lambs and pretty blossoms. i have sunbathed in london's parks for a birthday. i have eaten alot of cake and ice cream and homemade bunny biscuits. i have had marshmellow in my cereal. i have had a another tattoo, placed upon my finger. i have had friend's come to visit, to stay, to drop by. i have bought dresses and skirts and stickers and letter sets and thank you cards. i have had my birthday. i have celebrated another friend's birthday. i have smiled and laughed and smiled some more.plenty of cafe nero meet ups with my dear friend nicola for chats and catch ups. i always have the best fun with her. she makes me laugh and we always do silly things and speak in silly accents.april 14th was my 24th birthday. it did not make me feel older, though moving out from my home as a grown up probably did do that already.
anyway, i had the most loveliest birthday. sebastian bought me a new camera...as my old one decided to take a long long sleep, which i was so surprised at...it is gold and beautiful. i got lots of lovely things from family and friends too. mother took me shopping on the day which was so nice. i miss her lots.my cute little nephews j and t bought me some beautiful flowers and delivered to me on the evening of my birthday...they were so cute! love them. and tulips are one of my favourites!nicola visited me the day after and we had cake and tea and planned our joint birthday party for that coming weekend. our friends that we went to university with were coming to stay.mother made us this beautiful chocolately gooey cake with fresh cream and edible butterflies for our party. this was absolutely delicious. she is the best! the lovely sebastian made me this golden unicorn for my birthday too. he is so very wonderful!
after the birthday fun and celebrations was preparation for easter and looking forward to the bank holidays off work to spend with sebastian and visiting family and such. the weather was perfect! it was also nicola's birthday. i went to her lovely abode for tea after a lovely day out and lunch at our favourite haunt. in the evening we found an amazing photo booth that took old fashioned photos...we spent an hour there. the long easter weekend consisted of a barbeque at papa bear's with the dogs and sebastian...and little brother samuel came home from university for a surprise! was so amazing! it also involved easter packages from nan and gramps. an easter egg hunt. making grown up easter cakes with nuts. teeny family visits. little walks through the deserted town. more chocolate eggs and triangles and giant eggs. going to papa bear's house is one of my favourite things. his cottage is in the middle of nowhere and his garden is beautiful. his flowers. his views, the birds that visit for nuts..and the squirrels. the pet tortoise. and the two dogs. just so picturesque and it feels like a film set or the perfect place for a book's story. just so lovely. he also has a fridge packed full of lovely drinks. and a freezer full with ice cream and ice pops. easter monday breakfast. farm eggs and toasty soldiers. then a bit of chocolate.

my dear, all sorts of silly and crazy and sad and beautiful and angry and happy and funny and pretty things have happened so far. i have beautiful walks home and see lovely houses like these...see below. and i have busy bus journeys also..with horrid children and cute children and old people with lots to talk about, thank goodness for my friend izzabello who i sit with.

oh such a lovely view from one of our windows, with the most beautiful sunsets and spectacular sunrises. i just wish i did not have to run around getting ready for a day of work and miss them. sebastian has been taking some wonderful pictures of them though. i keep persuading him to get a blog...he starts one then deletes it...hmm.

some shopping, naughty shopping...has been taking place also. i have purchased things like a wonderful pastel hot air balloon and rich tea biscuits and a beautiful floral dress and blue white kitty dress and dusky pink brogues and easter cards and potato waffles and birthday presents and sorts.

sebastian has been buying me lovely 'tea-drinking-english' roses, firstly on st.valentines day and secondly... because my silly landlord will not let me have a teeny kitty.

moving in... was a little crazy. and extremely grown up, though i love it, i really do miss mother and the wychwood cottage. the lovely countryside and the noises of the spring lambs and the sight of tractors. and that wonderful garden. sigh. this is my new desks' new room.♥ pretty pretty

goodbye cottage

christmas was so beautiful and the very last at my cottage. i loved it so much and the nephews were so very excited and happy and full of bubbles which made us all like grown up children! i adored!

i got some lovely lovely things like a cath kidston radio and some pretty tops and lovely kitchen things for me to bake cakes and new home things and lot of lovely edibles like chocolate stars and pirate chocolate and sugar mice and turkish delight. i also got some lovely films and warm gloves and new wellington boots with cath kidston florals on them! it was so lovely.

and ofcourse not forgetting the loveliest of all... mother took me to the ballet to see the nutcracker! ooh my goodness it was so amazing and lovely! i enjoyed very much.

i've been packing packing packing ever since the 25th and my room looks bare and horrible. and now it looks even worse. i am so nervous my heart is tight and my butterflies are swooshing around too much and is making me queasy.

farewell wonderful bloggers! i will not be able to write or visit for a while as the new house as no internet just yet but as soon as i do, i shall bombard you with love and pictures from the new adventure. thank you for all your kind words...missing you all already.

oh goodness so much has happened.
well, at first it was 100 and something days until christmas... then it was 8.
the teeny and adorable nutcrackers helped me realise that christmas was ever so close. so i wrapped and wrapped and ribboned and ribboned. i wrote my christmas cards and i decorated mother's tree.now it's only 4 days until christmas is here and still so much to do. i am far too excited and i love it lots alot. snow is still falling. presents keep appearing all wrapped up, under the christmas tree. mother is baking alot more.. mince pies and jams and fudge.
i have some very important news to share... i will be moving out of the cottage on the 29th and moving into my very own house with my prince. how ever so grown up! i am scared and excited and happy and emotional and overwhelmed and mature and young and i have very nearly packed up all my room in brown cardboard boxes.
snow, snow... it is clearing up slightly now. the weatherman is saying that it wil be all clear in the air now.... which means no snow on christmas day. but my heart still hopes and my whispers still wish.
the fire is keeping us all very warm though. whilst i watch christmas films snuggled up with nephews and eating mince pies.

oh i shall miss my beautiful bedroom with it's wonderful windows and sparkly ceiling....and even brenda the witch. sighs.
though i do have my beautiful family christmas to look forward to. i am so very excited! i wish to be an elf so i can do christmassy things all year round.

being creative is what i enjoy best... 2011 holds lots of opportunities for me i think. so do not leave me my friends..even if i am the worst blogger and commenter in the whole of the world. please?!

snow!!! i am in love. my land looked so magical. i enjoyed jumping in all the untouched snow. it was my favourite. but not as wonderful as my snow day thursday- which consisted of christmas films and sweet and salted homemade chocolate crunch bars, and trying to find the christmas decorations then looking for a little place for the cone tree. lots of silly fun and gift wrapping and smiling.

♥ perfectly christmassy. i was surrounded by wonderful christmas excitement. i love it. alot. then.. it snowed even more. my garden in the back was wonderful. my feet sunk straight through the thick snow into somewhere even more magical. then my boots were freezing and making my doubled sock wearing feet ever so cold and soggy. i ran indoors and sat infront of the open fire. cosy cosy.i have been tagged with a post and an award....i will be back with those soon.... and some exciting news.

i went to the country living christmas fair in islington a couple of weekends ago, it was so lovely. it was full of christmas gifts and treats and beautiful little things i wanted for myself. it completely got me in a christmassy mood. more than. alot of things were purchased... metal hearts and hearts made out of twigs with ribbons and decorations for the christmas tree and a floral teatowel for my new kitchen and secret gifts and a castle t shirt and photo frames and more christmas tree decorations.
i want to move here....
i nearly had a whole week off work for being so poorly. it was horrible. all i did was sleep.
thankfully, i got better in time for the christmas lights to be turned on with fake snow at the weekend. and i went for dinner with my girly friends. everyone is getting so grown up- k is moving to new zealand. j-m is going to dubai forever. jo jo is going to italy for work for 6 months..in the snow. ames is having a baby so very soon... and my bestest friend might be moving to america with her boyfriend!!!!!! i can't lose her. i'll be ever so sad!

although, talking of growing up... i am going to be doing something ever so similar soon! so excited.

my little elves! it is a mere thirty days until christmas is officially upon us, so let's dance to christmas songs, wrap our christmas gifts and eat mince pies with our egg nogs! i am utterly in love with this time of year. and i forever will be.

bristol and babies

bristol bristol. i liked bristol. i saw my old friends which was so so lovely. i have missed them so very much. it felt like old times. and i've missed it. we went to some lovely places and drank vanilla milk and tea and had pizzas and had laughs and talks about funny memories. the sunshine was so warm and it was all so very pretty.(i loved visiting exeter first. seeing lovely laura and her town and her house was so wonderful.)

the train trip home was horrid. lots of delays and cancellations and we were steat-less for a few long hours. but guess who and silly games made things lots better. and bearable!

♥ some lovely news---one of my older brother's (girlfriend) has had his new baby boy-harvey! he is adorable! auntie again!

birmingham included the wedding show which was marvellous. the stalls were adorable. but, like last year, i was only helping out. i made lots of orders for my sister's friend's stall. 'tiarabelles' the designer handmakes it all. beautiful and elegant tiaras with swarovski crystals and pearl beads.

my friend rose wants me to get another hamster, i still am not quite sure. but she invited me over for tea and a play with her guniea pigs- dolce and gabbana. they are so funny. rose bought them a tent to play camping in, i want to take them to glastonbury with me next year! being back at work has been not fun at all. i just wish i could stay home and write. and read. and make soups and pies and bread and cakes. i wish i could feel like things were moving forward. but i do not think they are.

adventures at longleat park..

butterflies landed on me, i fed sea lions, i stroked ferrets, i held a huge spider, i carried a snake, i snuggled with bunnies, i saw giraffes and zebras and deer and tigers and lions and wolves and hippopotamus's' and meerkats and flamingo, i got close to egyptian fruit bats, i touched lots of cute little guinea pigs. it was lovely lovely.

it is all a bit.. completely strange. i am not sure it is all worth it anymore. or parts of it anyway.not alot of nice things have really happened. work has gotten alot worse. my brother went off to university far far away. and some friends have definitely not been friends. i surely hope that it'll get somewhat lovelier when the winter months arrive and christmas is in full swing and the progressions of new beginnings will occur. in the meantime, i will enjoy some beautiful gifts that my friend ola bought back from her adventures. i will enjoy some weekend adventures. i will enjoy looking at my new zara winter jumper--but not wearing it just yet. and wish for the wintertime to hurry it's woollen socks along. ---86 days until christmas is upon us.

one extremely early morning took me for a walk to the end of the long road to the bus stop, where the bus would pick me up and take me to work. this particular morning, was a beautiful one.

"hello miss ladybird" "hello miss charlotte"...

another day brought an outing with an old friend, pancake, from four years back. with apples and blackberries and pips. with a knitted monkey called clive. with lush lip scrub. with laughing lots. with buying gifts and one top..or two for myself.

another day included an evening at the cinema with dark chocolate sticks and a lovely film with tallulah plum-pip from work. and buying a lovely, silly children's book about eating your greens.

t-p-p picked me some sweeter than sweet sweetpeas from her garden. they smell so very wonderful. then another weekend arrived and it was my brother's birthday. i had dinner with my favourite friend suz, at her house with a lovely film that made me coo and smile and made me really happy after watching it. the day after, my sebastian took many pictures for his practice with sparkly lights and magic words. then we watched 'the princess bride' and i fell asleep.

i have been away busying myself with work for pennies. painting for friends. writing. making cookies. planning ~~a big secret adventure~~ a huge secret adventure. making little pencilled tables for my 'saving pennies' plan. watching strange films. trips to the beach for ice creams and family time on a windy day. counting the days until christmas. thinking of christmas homemade gifts. sleeping. being creative here---

i have been reading again too. after greece, i fell straight back into work mode which makes me ever so sleepy. so sleepy that when it's time for bed i head to dreamland straight away. it is so lovely to be able to do things now. i hope this grown up nonsense get's easier soon. i am so very exhausted.

visiting the quaint village with father, samuel and sebastian on saturday was so amazing. i saw too many beautiful things i wanted to purchase. we walked along the canal and watched the families on the teeny blue boats. we went to an antique-filled warehouse filled with old musty smells and long lost memories. it was beautiful. i wanted to buy some military buttons. but save-save i must.

the autumnal air is nearly upon us. you can feel it in the windy breezes. you can smell it in the pouring rain. it is a little exciting. although my brain feels confusion - where has our precious time disappeared to?

the weekend flew by like the leaves of an autumnal wind. like the wings of a swallow bird. so very fast. but i had dinner with friends and i wore new floral hairclips and a smile. i tidyed my bedroom and ate coconut mushrooms. i sang about the perfect day. i watched purple-eyed witches turn little boys into mice. i tidyed tilly~rose's room too and gave her heart shaped honey treats and wooden mushrooms. we snuggled. i laughed. i wrote letters. i took photographs. i drank cups of tea. i unwrapped new purchases. i wore my new heart ring bought by sebastian ♥

♥tilly~rose the teeny hamster loves her new treats and giant mushrooms. she loves loves alot. my recent purchases have included pretty little notepaper and a writing book and a blank storybook and floral underwear and sunglasses with swallow's peering in corners and special writing paper and t shirt tops and shoes with pearls-and-bows and a wonderful creamy stand for my lovely necklaces and a dreamy camera for my heart's desire and wants.
my wonderfully tidy and creative spot for my stories and drawings and writings and blogging ofcourse.

greece i love you

oh! i am back in the rainy weathery countryside. after such a wonderful and relaxing holiday! greece was spectacularly hot. mr sunshine was so warm to us. i really did not, at all want to come back. although my heart was missing a person or so. tilly~rose also ofcourse.
boat trips. dinners out. sunbathing by our pool. reading. reading. reading. banana ice creams. writing postcards. buying gifts. nighttime cocktails with sparklers and parasols. games night. dipping in the pool. broken sunglasses. a freckle explosion. fluff bugs. sunshine. laughter. perfection. giant watermelons. kaimaki. kinder-joy. corfu town. desirable handmade jewellery. more relaxing.

our villa that we stayed in was beautiful. it was peachy coloured and had lots of rooms. i got lost the first day! and for two weeks, we had it all to ourselves-blissful. i am ever so grateful for being invited to spend time with my old friend and her family. i forget how much i love and miss family time-i miss it alot.

i wish to go back please. anyone wish to save me from here?

365 days or so has passed ever so quickly. like a blink of an eyelid. good things have happened. amazing things have happened. bad things have happened. silly things have happened. giggly things have happened. 365 days or so have passed since the prince and i went on our first little date-feeding the ducklings at the lake across from the town. so we decided we'd do it again.
it was so lovely. the moment i took a slice of brown bread from the bag, the ducks and the geese came a swimming over. it was so very cute.

the prince bought me some lovely little gifts-which he really should not have. some wonderful sweet-treats recipe books. a decoration. and a weeny cute photograph printer. and he made me the cutest card in the world. what a thoughtful little heart he has. eee.

saturday, the prince and i went to our old 'little' school that we both went to. they were having a summer fete on the big field. i bought some reading books for holiday and we threw old balls at the coconut shy and we had bright coloured ice creams. mine was bubblegum blue! however, it was so very hot. i did coat my skin with a strongish sun cream, but the sun's rays forced itself through and burnt my neck and shoulders. ouch. ouch. ouchie. i've been spreading the aftersun on the purple patches. and slices of cucumber. please make sure you pale ones spread the suncream on--plenty of times! please?!

less than 6 days until the wonderful greece invites me in to the lands. i must start packing really-one hundred bottles of suncream i shall be filling my suitcase with!

summer is here- finally!

so, the little things have been wonderful. work has been a little strain on my smile. euchs and sighs. but then i return here, at my sister's-housesitting, and all is calm and perfection. i do not want to work at the office job anymore. it's horrid. and the top top manager is completely mean and i dislike her-infact, she scares me a little. a lot. she ruins our little fun we have whilst we work. grr.
however, there have been some lovely happenings inbetween. and i do have the grecian sunshine to look forward to in less than two weeks. hoorays.

the sunshine has been warming up my insides. the sunshine and i are going to be the best of friends this year. the freckles upon my nose will be dancing around for months i think. oh i am so very excited for the upcoming events this summer. let's all sing. and dance. with joy and happiness.

ma'ma's garden of sunny summery sunshine, warms up my heart considerably. her garden is full of purples-lilacs, bluebells, lavender, heather, violets. lovely lovely. except, one special giant peach poppy at the bottom of her garden. it was so pretty.
peach biscuits fill my tummy. sip sip of some tea. everything seems alright again.

i went on the most beautiful bicycle ride yesterday evening. in my village. it was a countryside road with no cars, only trees and teeny cottages and black faced sheep. it was wonderfully sweet. i saw the most wonderful secret manor house, as i peered through the trees. the sky was pure pink and ever so cute. i stopped and sat on the sty with the sheep, eating my bit of fresh bread that mother gave me before i left for my adventure. it felt like a film.

i am in love. with everything i have that is new. my heart is ever so excited. holiday soon.

off to my sister's house tomorrow after a long day at work. my suitcase is packed. tilly~rose is ready. now all i need is to squeeze my bicycle in. more excitement bubbles. hugs for everyone!

i am off to stay at my sister's on friday, whilst she and her teeny family are in france for 3 weeks. i am so excited to be escaping the crazy world of home. it is a little too much for me at this moment.

tea please mr train man-or i shall fall asleep. the sunshine stayed super bright and warm all day, which was perfect for the picnic and the ice cream that was had. and enjoyed. leoni and i talked lots and caught up on all the goings on. and discussed wedding ideas for her summer plans next year.

weekend wonder:

the following weekend included lots of little delights.. shopping for holiday beauties. i bought too many pretty things to mention. tops and summery shorts and dresses. and the most wonderful mary poppins-granny-esque bag. i cannot wait until the summery sunshine of the grecian land to shine itself upon my freckly nose. only under a whole month to wait. excitement bubbles.
so many little things have happened. charlotte has been a teeny ill bug. coughs and sniffles and sneezes. tilly~rose was a little ill too... we stayed in bed and slept and snuggled.. and got better. peach biscuit eating. hot blackcurrant sipping. thistle nails. doodle doodle soup. dreaming. wishing on secrets. work. work. work. singing with fyfe. humming to diana. writing lists. work. sneeeeze. cycling down the road on my new bicycle. laugh. high fived. wore love.

b also stands for birthdays. blossom. new bicycles. a weekend in brighton. and best---best times ever so far, i have had.
the weekend before last, the prince, sebastian, took me away for his birthday. in which we celebrated in brighton. we had banana and walnut birthday cake and other delightful foods. we shopped, we saw the unicorn fish at the centre, we had ice creams, we had sunburnt noses. we had the best ever time.
we bought mouse for pig's company when i work all day. he kind of likes her. she is comfy and soft soft soft.saturday included a bundle of wonder. father took samuel and i to his cottage a little while away. he made us a marvellously tasty luncheon with warm cups of tea and cream biscuits. he also gave me some late birthday gifts. a cd with diana's lovely voice. and a perfectly wonderous new bicycle.i am perfectly in love with the adorable thing. i am awaiting a new wicker basket for it, but this one is just lovely for now. father took me on a bicycle ride around the lanes by his abode. it was bumpy but lovely. i officially cannot wait until the summer months creep upon us.i have decided, whilst drawing and writing and making lists and whispering with tilly~rose, that this little noteblog of mine is so very important and i am going to make a promise to write back to your lovely comments and blog alot more than i have. i get the idea in my head that work is horrible and can cause tiredness and sometimes moments of 'argh'. but this here is what really matters. so i really do hope i haven't made you all dislike me by not getting back to you. i really do appreciate you coming back now and then. lots of little cuddles and whisper whispers of the moon dances.

oh gosh, so much has happened over the months... i turned twenty three! even closer to being all grown up- sigh. and a teeny reminder to how quick the year has gone. and it's spring...pretty pale blossoms cover the twigs in the gardens. little lambs spring into our world jumping around in the fields. daffodils fill our window sills. home baked muffins. sunny evenings. warmer sunshines. woodland adventures and photographs. silly fun with friends. ice lollies with brothers.

i received such beautiful gifts for my birthday. flowers and flowers. peach coloured tops with frills and lace and pearls. jewellery and the most wonderful sets of earrings i have ever owned. the most perfect sandals with bows and pearls and twilight-new moon and more jewellery. sweets galore. strawberry oreos and milk in a bottle-pure delights. the most wonderful books. beautiful everything. more and more.

mother made me an adorable pink teapot birthday cake with gold painted flowers. and my friend at work-joanna made me a wonderful pink castle cake. amazingly perfect birthday.i had a little birthday party with the dress up theme being -something beginning with 'c'. c for charlotte. i dressed as a pierrot clown and prince s was a caterpiller. there was charlie chaplin and cleopatra and a circus ringleader and cinderella and captain jack sparrow and cyndi lauper and charlie's angels and cow girls and boys and more. very creative. and lots of fun.

one april day, suz and i visited the farm around the corner. they had a fun day with candyfloss and children's rides and bouncy castles and sugary doughnuts. the teeny lambs that were merely days old were frolicking away looking sweet and being noisy.

we shared sugary doughnuts and an earl grey tea cupcake with sickly sweet lilac icings. mm. we then drove to the cottage and had teas and coffees and a nattery natter. it was lovely.

*for st valentine's day, mother received a very special gift- little bunny boris. his name is not boris, but i call him boris because he prefers it. he told me. boris is so lively, he jumps and hops around in his wooden house and makes lots of mess and eats lots and drinks more. but he is ever so adorable.

i had the very best weekend. i spent the whole of it with ola and amanda, and our friends came to visit- lauretta and clairabelle. we went dancing and had good foods and drank peach water with strawberries and we went shopping on the sunday and i bought many pretty things. many. i didn't want it to end. but then clairabelle had to go home to brighton and so lauretta came to see the cottage and my room and tilly~rose and it was lovely. and then it was so very sad as they had to go. but it was the best ever weekend in ages. so i am happy happy happy.

tomorrow after work is going to the best ever moments in a while also. the excitement bubbles are going to be floating around inside ever so fast and they will all pop the very moment i see him. i will stretch out my cardigan arms and wrap them right around him. i will never let go. oh, how i have missed him so.

january snowy snowy snow. all around our tippey toes. noses feel like teeny odd shaped ice cubes. and fingertips extremely numb eventhough cream coloured mittens are keeping them warm. but the cottage and the garden fences are lined and coated with a sheet of pure magic. wintery wonder.

angels made from snow come alive when children and charlottes dance in the snowy grass. icy cold legs and snow covered everything. but magical afters.

♥snowy love and laughter. charlotte loves to plays amongst the woods with the ponies and the snowed on trees and sit upon the tree stumps singing inside her rosy cheeked head. singing along to the songs of christmas that have whirled around in her world since december 1st.

little bashful bunnies teeter and hop away into the bushes and eat snowball cakes and icy cold water.

early morning sunshine peering through the windows. waking you up with thoughts of a good day. a good day with soft sounds of music and wonderful sunshine and snowy grounds and hot cups of tea snuggled in bed.

christmas arrived with such splendor and excitement and treats of wonder. golden sequined jumpers and my name in sugared pink to wear upon my neck and beautiful earrings and bangles and necklaces and cosy socks with flowers and bows and such. and peachy tops and pinkish slippers to toast my toes and everything special you could imagine. and treats of turkish delights and sugared mice and pirate chocolate. tilly~rose got some delights also.

homemade mince pies with hot cups of tea and homemade fudge and iced biscuits and cheese with crackers and bucks fizz and turkey and fudge yule log and chocolates and more were enjoyed.

tilly~rose adored the christmassy wonder and wrapping papers and her seeded honey sandwich that father christmas bought to her attention.

my teeny nephew iced these special little biscuits for our christmas tree and he said.."auntie charwee, you can have a starr". ♥

he doesn't like ma'ma's little father christmas- he says "he's got a scarewee face". but i adore his rosy cheeks and kind smiling wrinkles.
as much as i adored what was inside my wonderful stocking from ma'ma.

but before my nephews tucked their teeny toes and feet into their bunk beds, we made sure to leave out a homemade mince pie and a glass of cold milk and a teeny spill or whisky to warm father christmas's insides. and ofcourse a carrot for the reindeer. it was all gone in the early morning, except the carrot was only nibbled at.

homemade turkish delight and glittered reindeer biscuits were given for gifts. along with ma'ma's homemade plum jam and strawberry jam and clear ribboned bags of fudge and mince pies with homemade mince meat and jars of homemade pickles and cinnamon ginger biscuits and sausage rolls.

the days have flown away from me, the next second i knew it, it was fifty nine whole days until christmas is upon us. my heart fills with utter joy and all things cinnamon and bauble shaped.
so i decided to take mother and teeny t and j to visit the dear wild ponies in the woods behind the cottage. gosh we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. what lovely auntie charlotte who carried treats for them in her cosy coat pocket.
