80s child

when i went on one of my adventures, along with my first wedding magazine, i bought a few other things. a handful of pretty postcards, a kraft sketchbook for our 'wedding inspiration', some cute little woodland stickers, and pretty coral hair bow. 

i miss buying things for myself. my pennies always go on bills/rent and other grown up things.

this week will last for ages, working the whole week. but i am going to break it up with having friends over for tea, and maybe another *interview*! and wearing peter pan collars, and of course... pancakes.

..and wishing i could wear nicer clothes at work, though i can wear lots of pretty tops... but nothing like pretending that i am stuck in the 80s and dancing to the 'saved by the bell' theme tune.

i will also be filling my tummy with more biscuits and little violet crème chocolates, and big cups of teas.

...and even bigger cups of tea and homemade cherry and ginger cake (made by mother's friend who lives on a farm, with forty and so chickens! -she makes the best cakes).

thank you so much for all your very very helpful advice on the GTP situation. i contacted the college and i can apply around october... so lots of time for some work experience. so exciting.
